I've spent over a decade in the nail industry.
I trained as a nail technician, built a career doing the work, and went on to open my own salon and training academy. I know what it's like to be with clients all day, working appointment after appointment, trying to protect your hands and your back while still delivering a service clients love.
That's exactly why MUSE exists.
The problem I kept running into
Time and time again, I saw students turning up with tools and equipment that just weren't up to standard. Cheap EFiles that were heavy, noisy, and clunky to use for hours on end. Kits pieced together from wherever was cheapest, with no real quality behind them. And it was making their jobs harder, not easier. They were trying to learn a skilled trade while fighting equipment that worked against them the whole way.
I didn't want that to be the standard. I wanted somewhere they could get everything they needed in one place, with quality they could actually trust. That's what MUSE became.
Building MUSE
MUSE launched in 2024, and it came from a simple idea: create the modern EFile I wished I'd had years ago, along with the essentials that go alongside it.
Every product is designed, tested, and hand picked by me, an industry professional, not by people who've never sat at a nail desk.
That's still how we work. If it doesn't hold up in a real salon, on a real client, during a real busy Saturday, it doesn't make the cut.
